Spears's Circus tour kicks off later this year and choreographers have been asked to create an explosive dance routine for the singers to perform, reports The Mirror.
"When Britney joined Madonna on stage for her [Sticky & Sweet] tour it was very sedate," revealed a source. "This is going to be a high energy dance routine - getting back to what they are both good at, performing."
Last month, Spears's choreographer Wade Robson hinted that they hoped to get Madonna aboard as a guest performer at some shows.
Spears joined the pop icon on stage in November for the Los Angeles leg of her Sticky & Sweet tour.
