The group will team up with Morrissey during his tour of the country in March and April.
The former Smiths singer last year expressed his admiration for The Courteeners, claiming that they could make it big in the US.
He said: "I went to see them in Camden. Every song was very strong and full of hooks and full of dynamics and I thought: 'This is great.' I think they will make it [in the US] and I think you'll come across them."
Morrissey's new album Years Of Refusal is released next month.
