Scouting For Girls: 'We're not stopping'

Scouting For Girls have said that they will not be taking a break from music in 2009.

The indie trio have been promoting their self-titled debut since September 2007, releasing three singles from the record last year.

However, the group will not be breaking from touring to make the follow-up, claiming that they will write the second LP while touring Europe.

"We're not going to take any time off," singer Roy Stride told the Daily Star. "We're going to start recording in the spring.

"It's been such a slow-burning success. Other countries are only just starting to put the first album out even though we wrote it 18 months ago.

"We're actually going to be like a new band in most of Europe."
