Peter Gabriel has refused to rule out a reunion with Genesis.

The 58-year-old singer, who began his career with the prog rock act, told Mojo that touring with the band again is still a possibility.

"In principle I have no real objection to playing with Genesis at some point in the future," he said.

Gabriel left Genesis in 1975 and was replaced by drummer Phil Collins as the group's lead singer. His solo hits include 'Solsbury Hill', 'Games Without Frontiers' and 'Sledgehammer'.

Genesis recently reformed for a 2007 tour with Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford in the lineup.
