Dolly Parton has been selected to be inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame.
The '9 To 5' singer will be honoured alongside musicians Michael W. Smith, Dr. Bobby Jones, the Dixie Hummingbirds and producer Lari Goss.
GMA President John Styll told The AP that this year's inductees were chosen because they shared a common heritage of gospel music.
Grammy Award winner Parton has released several gospel recordings and her Dollywood theme park is the site of the Southern Gospel Museum and Hall of Fame.
Previous inductees include Elvis Presley and the Oak Ridge Boys.
