The singer claims that Lil Wayne is taking inspiration from Kanye West, whose latest album 808s And Heartbreak differs from the standard rap style.
"Wayne's coming out with a new album. It's a rock album. A complete rock album. I have a song on there," Drake said.
"It's something different in just that whole 808s And Heartbreak, just throwing individuals off."
Lil Wayne's last album Tha Carter III sold over one million copies during its first week of release in the US last summer.
