Webber picks US writer for Eurovision
Andrew Lloyd Webber has picked a US songwriter to pen this year's Eurovision Song Contest entry for the UK.

Diane Warren, who wrote LeAnn Rimes track 'How Do I Live' and Toni Braxton's 'Unbreak My Heart', will team up with the the composer in an effort to boost the UK's chances in the competition.

"We will write the best song possible for the event and for the artist," said Warren.

Lloyd Webber, tasked with finding this year's UK entrant, added: "This is a massively new direction for me and I cannot wait to get started."

Warren's other credits include 'I Don't Want To Miss A Thing' by Aerosmith, 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now' by Starship and Cher's 'If I Could Turn Back Time'.
