The band, who will play tracks from Tonight: Franz Ferdinand at the venue on January 20, said they are fans of the gay scene in the capital.
"There is a great gay club in London called Horse Meat Disco. They've recreated New York in the 1970s," drummer Paul Thomson told Seattle Gay News.
Singer Alex Kapranos added: "I'd say the best club is Optimo. It's neither a gay nor straight club. A great mixture of music and fantastic DJs. It's very cool."
According to Heaven manager Mark Ellico, tickets for the performance sold out in 20 minutes.
