Kings of Leon have ended Take That's five-week reign over the UK albums chart.

The Nashville band's Only By The Night LP, which debuted at number one in September, returns to the top this week, forcing Take That's The Circus into second place.

Duffy remains at three with Rockferry, the biggest-selling album of last year, while Leona Lewis holds steady at four with the 'Deluxe Edition' of her Spirit LP.

Meanwhile, MGMT's debut disc Oracular Spectacular climbs to a new peak of eight, while albums by James Morrison and Ting Tings bounce back into the top ten.

The highest new entry of the week comes from Kylie Minogue, who debuts at 28 with remix compilation Boombox.
