'Now... 1' compilation re-released
The first Now That's What I Call Music album has been re-released.

Record company EMI TV has put out the album on CD to mark the 25th anniversary of the famed compilation series last month. The disc's sleeve features a version of the vinyl original.

Now... 1, described as a "who's who of 1983", includes the hits
'Karma Chameleon' by Culture Club, 'Total Eclipse Of The Heart' by Bonnie Tyler and UB40's 'Red Red Wine'. The record, which sold 900,000 units and topped the UK album charts on its initial release, also features Rod Stewart, Paul Young, Tina Turner, Duran Duran, Phil Collins, Simple Minds, The Cure and Madness.

The latest series instalment, Now That's What I Call Music 71, was released in November last year.
