Isaac Hayes's Black Moses and Juicy Fruit albums will be reissued posthumously next month.

His seminal 1971 Black Moses LP is scheduled for release in the US on February 24. Stax Records is including newly remastered recordings and liner notes from music writer Rob Bowman.

The soul singer's 1976 disco album Juicy Fruit will be released for the first time on CD format on the same day. It will feature notes from music historian Bill Dahl.

Hayes, who won an Oscar and two Grammys for the theme from Shaft, passed away in August last year. He was recognised as one of the most successful and ground-breaking black artists of the 1970s alongside Al Green, James Brown and Stevie Wonder.
