The musician said that he had been contacted by Noel Gallagher about remixing the track 'Falling Down', which would be the third release from their Dig Out Your Soul album.
"Noel Gallagher rang in to the Automobile Association headquarters personally today, and what a thoroughly nice chap he is too," said Cobain. "He wants us to remix the next Oasis single, 'Falling Down'... giving us carte-blanche to do what the f**k we want."
Noel Gallagher revealed last month that The Amorphous Androgynous's album A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Exploding In Your Mind (Vol 1. Space Rock) was his favourite record of 2008, describing it as "one of the best things I've ever, ever heard".
Gallagher allegedly bought ten copies of the album and gave them as Christmas presents to friends including Paul Weller and Kasabian.
