The track, which features a cameo from New York rapper Colby O'Donis, also leads the UK and Irish singles chart this week.
Beyoncé remains at two with former chart-topper 'Single Ladies', while Kanye West holds steady at three with 'Heartless'.
Meanwhile, rock four-piece All-American Rejects leap from ten to six with 'Gives You Hell', duly scoring their biggest ever hit.
Outside of the top ten, Pussycat Dolls advance from 18 to 11 with 'I Hate This Part', while Pink climbs from 25 to 20 with 'Sober'.
