The musician, real name Steve Wold, revealed that he is teaming up with the White Stripes frontman during the Brit Awards launch earlier this week, reports the Daily Star.
Wold, who is nominated in the Best International Male Solo Artists category, also apparently admitted that he had never heard of the Brits before his nomination.
The singer is competing with Beck, Neil Diamond, Jay-Z and Kanye West for the gong. He released his third studio album I Started Out With Nothin and I Still Got Most Of It Left last September.
