The band announced the news via a Twitter update last week. "The band are back in the studio for a couple of weeks with Brian Eno... Prospekt," read the message.
Eno worked with the group on 2008's Viva La Vida LP. The band previously claimed that they were hoping to release a new album before the end of 2009.
Chris Martin's band are due to head off for a tour of Japan, Australia and New Zealand next month.
The group's latest single 'Life In Technicolor ii' is released on February 2.
