CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment Linda McMahon recently announced that the rockers would take to the stage to perform the theme song for this year's contest.
Wrestlemania XXV is being held on April 5 at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, and will be shown live on pay-per-view television.
After the performance, AC/DC will tour the UK in support of their Black Ice album.
The band has booked dates at the O2 Arena in London, Manchester's MEN, the Birmingham LG and Hampden Park, with tickets on sale now.
Black Ice was recently nominated for Best International Album at the Brit Awards, with the group also in the running for Best International Group.
Last month, South of Scotland MSP Christine Graham lodged a motion in parliament calling for the recognition of the popularity and influence of the band.
