Under the terms of the new contract, Universal will continue administering the band's music around the world, Music Week reports.
Dan Garnett of Nettwerk Management said: "After an amazing ten years filled with so many great songs, the band are looking forward to many more years of great songs and continued success."
Paul Connolly, president of Europe and UK at UPMG, said: "Stereophonics have written so many great songs over the years and nine million album sales plus the recent success of their 'Best Of' speaks for itself."
Last year, the Welsh band's frontman Kelly Jones told the Daily Record that despite the stigma attached to compilations, their greatest hits album was a "celebration" of the group's music over the last decade.
