The CD, which is produced under the alias Operation Aloha, will be released in May, reports NME.
Created by 14 musicians, the album was made on the Hawaiian island of Maui and was inspired by the "tranquility" and "freedom" of the US state.
Phantom Planet's Sam Farrar, Gomez's Dajon Everett, Ian Ball and Olly Peacock and Maroon 5's James Valentine and Jesse Carmichael are all involved in the record. All 14 musicians apparently lived in tree houses during their 30-day stint on the island.
