The Streets star Mike Skinner was treated by paramedics at a recent concert.

The singer was injured after launching himself into the crowd at his Cambridge Corn Exchange gig.

An ambulance was called by staff at the venue after the star's stomach split open.

"Someone held on to my belt so hard that my hernia scar opened up to a bright red colour," he told The Sun.

"I’ve never known pain like it. Apparently I need to stop the regular violent tugging and punching."

Skinner recently announced that The Streets's fifth album would be the last.
