The solo singer, who secured a deal with Universal's A&M records after winning the Channel 4 reality show, scored a number 14 hit with his debut single 'Gimme A Call' last week.
Speaking about his sudden fame, the 19-year-old said: "It's been mental, it's been fun. As soon as I heard the single, I was running around the house trying to get people to come and look at the computer going, 'Is this really happening?'"
Reilly added that the "icing on the cake" would be a slot at this year's T In The Park festival in his native Scotland.
"I really, really want to [play] and I'm hoping that getting the deal will help me," he said. "The festival I have dreamed of playing is T in the Park. It was the first festival I ever went to and as soon as I got there, I was like 'I really want to play here'."
