He told Billboard magazine that he is currently "chilling out" and putting down new ideas for songs on his Blackberry.
On working with Dr Dre, he said: "I did a joint. I think it's crazy.
"He's someone I'd love to do a whole album with one day. He's incredible. I think he's the best producer of all time."
Dr Dre told MTV in 2002 that Detox would be his third and final solo album and the rapper-producer has been working on the LP for the past five years.
