The band also thanked fans for buying tickets to their tour in May, Clash Music reports.
Singer Paul Smith said: "Colin, our manager, told me that the strange beast known as the inter-web has been spreading Rollerdisco-related rumours vis a vis the album title.
"Well, let me tell you, the only Rumours I condone are those released by Fleetwood Mac, so get real rumour-mongers. I blame Wikipedia, the root of misinformation."
He added that all will soon be revealed regarding the title and track-listing of the follow-up to 2007's Our Earthly Pleasures.
Before they announced the album, Smith said that the group will try to "push some sonic boundaries" with the record.
