According to the Daily Star, the group have decided not to release any more singles from their Mark Ronson-produced LP Off With Their Heads, fearing that they have become overexposed.
"There was huge excitement when the Kaisers and Ronson confirmed they were working together," a source said. "It was a dream pairing. But perhaps it came a little too quickly. For a long time you couldn't turn on your TV and radio or go to a festival without the Chiefs being in your face. Even the most ardent fan likes to be left dangling in anticipation."
The Leeds band were also snubbed at this year's BRIT Awards. "They are taking time to reflect, take stock and enjoy life away from the limelight," added the source. "It's certainly not the end of the road for the band. They want to come back better than ever."
