Klaxons premiered material from their second album at Madame Jojo's in London last night.
The nu-rave act played four new tracks at the intimate gig, which was only announced to fans yesterday.
Jamie Reynolds, Simon Taylor, James Righton and Steffan Halperin took the stage at 10pm at the White Heat club night. Reynolds wore a tutu and formal dinner jacket with tails for the show.
The setlist included hits 'Golden Skans', 'Atlantic To Interzone', 'Magick' and new songs 'Moonhead', 'Imaginary', 'Silver Forest' and 'Valley Of The Calm Trees'.
According to NME, the new material featured a "chunky, guitar-driven sound" and their "trademark melodic choruses".
Klaxons' follow-up to 2007's award-winning Myths Of The Near Future LP, which they have recorded with James Ford, is expected later this year.
