Vocalist Maxim Reality admitted that in the past complacency had been a problem with the band, and they had to return to the basics to re-ignite their hunger.
He told The Guardian that Liam Howlett had made the right decision in recording their previous studio album without him or singer-dancer Keith Flint and the band now know what they are about.
Maxim said: "We all listen to music, and we know what rocks. We're not kidding ourselves: we know we're the f**kin' bollocks!"
Flint added: "People want to see us because they think it's gonna be a disaster, but instead they're gonna see f**kin' mayhem! They'll be like, 'Them c***s're better than they've ever been!' And it's true!"
