Slipknot have become the first act to confirm themselves for this year's Download festival.
The masked metal band announced on their website that they will be playing the event on Saturday, June 13.
It will be the group's first Download show since 2005. They are currently promoting their 2008 All Is Gone album.
Download runs on June 12, 13 and 14 at Donington Park, Castle Donington.
