The punk trio made their first public appearance together since 2005 at the Los Angeles ceremony. Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker also revealed that they are already working on new material.
"To put it simply, we're back," they said in a statement. "We mean, really back. Picking up where we left off and then some. In the studio writing and recording a new album. Preparing to tour the world yet again. Friendships reformed. 17 years deep in our legacy."
The band last performed together in 2004. Delonge went on to front Angels & Airwaves, while Barker and Hoppus formed +44. Last November Hoppus revealed that the group were "reconnecting", alerting fans to the possibility of a reunion.
Blink-182 sold 12 million albums between 1992 and 2005, which spawned the hits 'All The Small Things', 'I Miss You' and 'The Rock Show'.
It is rumoured that the trio may support Green Day on a summer tour.
