Mark Ronson snubs Brit Awards

The producer hasn't been nominated in any categories this year and thinks that attending the event will make him look "desperate".
"I think it would be a bit weird to go. I performed last year and got an award for best British male, and I worry that going when you're not nominated is a bit tragic," he told More.
"It might look a bit desperate going if you're not presenting or anything. Like, 'I won last year, remember?' It would be a bit like making me give my award over to someone else - awful."
Ronson went on to admit that he hadn't heard many of the nominees in this year's British male solo artist category, which includes Ian Brown, James Morrison, Paul Weller, Mike Skinner and Will Young.
"I think that a lot of people like Paul Weller, he's a bit of an icon and someone you want to give it to. And I'm a fan of Ian Brown too, but the rest of the category I didn't hear the albums, so I don't know."
The star recently confirmed that he was 'taking his time' on the follow-up to 2007's Version, predicting a release next year.
