The original lineup of Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, John Otto and DJ Lethal will reunite to work on the band's first album since 2005's The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1).
"We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other," said the group in a joint statement.
"Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognise there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why Limp Bizkit is back."
The band will start a world tour in the spring, which includes festival dates and headline shows around Europe. The nu-metal group have already announced two performances at Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park in Germany.
Limp Bizkit's first three studio albums sold 33 million records worldwide and featured the hit singles 'Nookie', 'Take A Look Around', 'Rollin' and 'My Way'.
