The singer told the BBC that she was not expecting to be nominated for any awards this year, having won the Critic's Choice prize last year.
Adele said: "I think Duffy will win Best Female. I'd like to win Best Breakthrough. That would be nice.
"But then it might be Leona wins Best Female, Duffy wins Best Breakthrough. Or maybe The Ting Tings and Scouting For Girls will win them.
"But I think I've got as good a chance as anyone else. I'd like to think I do."
The 'Chasing Pavements' star admitted that she would not enjoy the ceremony because she has given up drinking and will be sticking to cranberry juice.
Last weekend, Adele beat Duffy in two categories at the Grammys, winning the awards for Best New Act and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
Duffy did not go away empty handed herself, winning the Pop Vocal Album award for her debut LP Rockferry.
