Speaking on BBC Radio 2, the singer said that he has no plans to get back together with his bandmates after their 1987 split as he is "very much of now".
"People always ask me about reunions and I can't imagine why. It baffles me," he said.
Morrisey's new album Years Of Refusal is due out on Monday.
