According to Rolling Stone, Gene Simmons's rock group have confirmed that they are not involved in the business venture, which appears to be a prank.
"For nearly three decades fans from all over the globe have been trying to get Kiss meat in their hands and into their mouths," says a message of the site. "Well now is your chance. At Kiss Burger, we want to put our meat inside you."
All phone calls to the alleged company are directed to West Hollywood's Studs Theatre, which offers "new and classic, gay and straight, adult entertainment".
The "Fur Burger", which was designed for the lesbian marketplace, has been removed from the menu because the creators do not want to "offend any more women". A message, which the site claims is written by Simmons, continues: "I adore and worship women. They are the reason we exist. My mother was a woman... Most of the women I've slept with are women."
The menu also includes a "unique patented flavoured ‘Love Gun’ secret sauce".
