The White House is reportedly planning a concert and award ceremony to honour Stevie Wonder's work.

President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will present the singer with a Library Of Congress award next week. The concert is scheduled for broadcast on PBS on February 26, reports AP.

Wonder sang at the Democratic National Convention in Denver on the night Obama accepted his party's nomination, and gave a second performance during the week of Obama's inauguration.

His song 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours' became a theme song during Obama's campaign. Obama had earlier revealed Wonder to be his "musical hero".
