Published Monday, Feb 16 2009, 16:14 GMT | By Mayer Nissim

Entitled Graffiti Soul, the album is the follow-up to 2005's Black & White 050505.
Frontman Jim Kerr said:"Stylistically, this is a truly vibrant rock 'n' roll album that's bursting at the seams with quite possibly the most ballsy pop songs we have written in years."
The band celebrated their 30th anniversary with an arena tour last year and also played at the 90th birthday concert for Nelson Mandela at Hyde Park.
Graffiti Soul will be availble from Universal Records on May 25, 2009.
Simple Minds's 'Waterfront' featured on the recent re-release of the first in the Now That's What I Call Music compilation album series.
