Saint Etienne have announced that they will be performing at Brighton's Beachdown Festival in August.
The band, who released London Conversations: The Best Of Saint Etienne today, are preparing for a year of touring to promote the singles collection and confirmed that they will play at the four-day event.
"We're definitely doing [Beachdown] at Devil's Dyke near Brighton," bandmember Pete Wiggs told DS.
He added that the group, who found fame in the 1990s with singles 'Only Love Can Break Your Heart', 'He's On The Phone' and 'Sylvie', would be playing their most popular songs from over the years rather than exclusively new material.
"I think we've kind of realised that it's a bit unfair just to play your new album and ignore your old stuff," he said. "This year particularly we'll be doing lots of the old stuff. It's a lot less stressful as people already know it, so that really takes the pressure off!"
The Zutons, Super Furry Animals, Ida Maria and Grandmaster Flash have also been confirmed for the festival, which starts on August 28.
