Now in its fourth year, the Scottish event features a number of live acts and DJs, with the lineup for the 2009 festival including acts such as Erol Alkan, Pete Tong and Zane Lowe.
The Flaming Lips will headline on Friday, June 12, while Placebo will top the bill on Sunday, June 14.
Other bands recently added to the lineup include Super Furry Animals and The Wombats.
Festival director Jim King said: "The new additions to this year's line up are all fantastic acts. The Flaming Lips' live performances are always unique and fit right in to the ethos of Rock Ness.
"It's going to be the first time they have played Scotland for a while and the band are promising to come up with another spectacular show."
Orbital have already been announced as the headliners for the Saturday, while other acts confirmed include Basement Jazz, Dizee Rascal, The Prodigy and Biffy Clyro.
