Edward Strickland, of RMF Productions, has filed a lawsuit against the rapper after he allegedly postponed an event in Rochester three times in a four-month period.
According to TMZ, Strickland is suing Wayne, real name Dwayne Carter Jr., his manager and others for $1.3 million (£900,000), claiming that he advanced Wayne $100,000 (£70,000) in October and has had nothing in return.
Strickland alleges that the last time he heard from Wayne was through an email cancelling the third concert due to 'band logistics'.
