The former Busted star will join regular presenter Katie P from 10pm to 2am on February 21 to showcase some of the country's favourite rock records.
"We will be playing some storming classics, airing some newer talent, and showcasing the very best of British rock - highlighting just how much musical brilliance this nation has to offer," Simpson said.
"What's more, I get to hang out with Katie all evening! Good times all round! We might, if the mood takes us, even chuck in a little acoustic session too...a one-off treat for all who tune in!"
Fightstar release their new single 'Mercury Summer' on April 6. Their album Be Human follows on April 20.
