The duo teamed up with a number of singers, including Robyn and The Knife's Karin Dreijer-Andersson, for forthcoming album Junior, and have claimed that their "inclusive" relationship helped increase their creativity.
"There are a lot of good things coming out of Scandinavia at the moment from Sweden, Norway and Denmark," band member Svein Berge told Gigwise.
"We know these people and they know us: it is all intertwined and very inclusive, the whole operation. I don’t mind being associated with these enormously talented artists.
"Röyksopp are a bit on the side of it, but we try and invite ourselves into that clique, obviously."
The group's debut Melody A.M. sold over a million copies when it was released in October 2001.
Junior is released on March 23.
