Duff McKagan: 'Guns reunion could happen'

WENN

Former Guns N' Roses bass player Duff McKagan has refused to dismiss the idea of a full band reunion.

McKagan currently plays with former Roses bandmates Slash and Matt Sorum as part of Velvet Revolver, while Rose finally released Chinese Democracy without any other founding members last year.

He told Rolling Stone: "It could very well happen. It would have to be right and it would have to be righteous for everybody....[I]t would have to be like a kick ass thing, or it would just kind of be sour, I think.

"I love Axl. We've been through a lot of s*** together and s*** nobody can take away from us, no matter what people try to make of a squabble."

McKagan also added that he does not sit around and wish for the old lineup of the group to reform.

Earlier this month, Rose said that he and Slash would die before a full band reunion would take place.
