The R&B singer parted ways with Def Jam Records in 2006 after reported "creative differences" and is now expected to release new album Dream In Colour in April.
"I'm working currently with Dream and also with Tricky [Stewart], making fire, heat right now!" she told Rap-Up.
Songwriter and producer The-Dream, who produced Rihanna's 'Umbrella' and Beyoncé's 'Single Ladies', added that he is confident Milian can relaunch her music career after signing with his label.
"I'm trying to put my heart into it and make sure I deliver her the same records I gave everybody else," he said.
Milian has scored five Top 10 singles in the UK, including 'Say I', 'Dip It Low' and 'AM To PM'.
