Allen album cracks US top five

Last week, the singer "begged" her American fans to buy the album after it emerged that she had a chance of making number one.
However, It's Not Me, It's You has to settle for a #5 debut on this week's Billboard 200 countdown - behind LPs by Taylor Swift, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, India.Arie and The Fray.
Allen's previous album, 2006's Alright, Still, peaked at #20 on the US albums chart.
She is currently at number one on both the singles and albums charts in the UK.
