According to ThisIsLondon, the U2 frontman told Absolute Radio that Jordan, 19, and Memphis Eve, 17, are worried that he will "bore the a**e" of his celebrity friends.
Recounting a visit by Jay-Z and Beyoncé to the family home in St. Tropez, he said: "I went in to get some wine out of the fridge and I heard [Jordan] talking to her friends.
"And I heard her saying, 'He's probably boring their a***s off talking about Africa'. And actually I think I was at the time. Not boring their a***s off... Actually, I probably was."
He added that his daughters are equally unimpressed with his taste in music, saying: "There was a funny moment on the last tour when there were formal objections by our kids to... [what] was being played at the aftershow party."
U2's new album No Line On The Horizon is released on March 2.
