According to the Glasgow Sunday Mail, the two acts have agreed dates to perform at the Scottish stadium.
It will be Springsteen's first show in Scotland with the E Street Band for 28 years, and only the fifth time he has played the country.
The show, which is scheduled for July 14, has sparked rumours that the singer may play the T In The Park festival the preceding weekend.
Last month Springsteen confirmed shows at Glastonbury and Hyde Park, where he will be promoting his Working On A Dream album.
Meanwhile, U2, who release their No Line On The Horizon LP this week, will play the venue on August 18. The concert will reportedly be part of a large UK jaunt.
