Eavis said that they were aiming to have one act from every year the festival has run playing on the Pyramid Stage to mark the event's 40th anniversary.
"It's our 40th anniversary next year. We're talking to lots of bands at the moment about that, and we want to have a band from every year on the Pyramid Stage over the weekend," she told BBC 6Music.
"And I think we'll try and make a lot of the biggest performances on some of the tinier stages, so we're going to do something really special for our 40th anniversary."
Glastonbury began in 1970 and has featured acts including David Bowie, Paul McCartney, Brian Wilson, Oasis, Pulp, Beastie Boys, Amy Winehouse and Rage Against The Machine.
Blur, Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young are expected to headline this year's festival.
