New York Dolls announce new LP

New York Dolls have announced the details of their fourth album, which is due for release in the US on May 5 and in the UK a day earlier.
The follow-up to One Day It Will Please Us to Remember Even This is the band's second studio effort since their 2004 reunion.
Entitled Cause I Sez So, the record sees surviving founder members David Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain reunite with producer Todd Rundgren for the first time since the group's 1973's self-titled debut.
Johansen said: "It was amazing working with Todd again, and I think we were able to evoke the special sound of our first album and drag it by the hair into the present."

The band have also confirmed a number of appearances at this year's South By Southwest festival.
