James Morrison 'gutted' over Brits result

The singer-songwriter was nominated for the Best Male Solo Artist gong, but lost out to Paul Weller on the night.
"I'm gutted at not winning. But losing to Paul is cool. I'd rather lose to him than anyone else," he told the Daily Record. "Awards do matter, but at the same time it's not the be-all and end-all."
Morrison added that he had mixed feelings when he watched Welsh star Duffy collecting three awards at the ceremony, which also saw Coldplay going home with nothing.
"Coldplay are a great band but they've won loads of awards already, so they can't begrudge Duffy winning," he explained.
"But I did want to see Adele win, to be honest. I've just been on tour with her and she's amazing live. I would have voted for her without a doubt, but Duffy still deserved to win."
