The girlband dismissed claims that they were taking an 'indefinite break' after disappointing sales of their sixth album Catfights And Spotlights.
"Things are going great - they have a jampacked diary for 2009," the group's spokesman told The Mirror.
"It's complete rubbish that the Sugababes are splitting up. They are feisty but they are here to stay."
The group are currently acting as mentors on the Dutch version of The X Factor and are planning on starting work on their new album Stateside.
"They are excited about their new album with lots of new collaborations," the spokesman added.
Speaking to DS, band member Keisha Buchanan recently revealed that they hoped to team up with producers behind Rihanna and Beyoncé's biggest singles.
"We'd also love to work with Cee-Lo from Gnarls Barkley. We met him when we were working with [US record producer] Dallas Austin and we'd love to do something with him."
