Artists including Calexico, Kimya Dawson, Apples In Stereo and Bob Mould played at the concert before punk legend Patti Smith took to the stage to sing the band's 'New Test Leper', Billboard reports.
Smith was then joined by Michael Stipe, Peter Buck and Mike Mills for a closing performance of the band's 'E-Bow The Letter' from 1996 LP New Adventures In Hi-Fi.
Proceeds from the concert were donated to Music Education Programmes for Underprivileged Youth.
