The Scottish group asked for the coveted slot after covering Oasis song 'Listen Up' and posting it on YouTube.
A message at the end of the clip reads: "Give us a support slot. Please."
The band covered the song, as well as B-side 'Talk Tonight', at a recent concert in Edinburgh.
The View recently admitted that they were "hopeful" of an upcoming American tour. They were previously refused entry following lead singer Kyle Falconer's cocaine possession conviction.
